BASIC FUN! | Design Intern
Basic Fun! is a toy company based in Florida who works with brands such as Tonka, Care Bears, Curli Girls, & Lincoln Logs. As the Graphic Design Intern, I worked within the Marketing Department and took part in creating social media content that adhered to the toys brand and also Basic Fun's look as a whole.
DESIGN CHALLENGE
Create social media content, including campaigns and posts, that adhere to the toy's overarching brand and build engagment with followers on Instagram.
CARE BEARS
Did someone say throwback? The Care Bear's look has been updated by the company Cloud Co. Their content inlcudes online games, videos, and of course, toys. For the Basic Fun! social media posts, I was sure to highlight the new bright colors that are featured on the products. The interactive toys are even able to communicate with eachother as seen by the National Emoji Day post to the right.

CUTETITOS, BABITOS, & BUDDITOS
Ever wonder what happens when you mix adorable stuffed animals with burritos? Well, that would be a Cutetito! Cutetitos are plush animals with a matching blanket that wrap around them like a little burrito. This line of toys took the shelves by storm. As an intern, I took part in social media content creation. With these posts, because of limited photo shoot material, I clipped stock imagery and product photos in order to create new social media content. These posts adhered to the Cutetito brand along with the Basic Fun! social media guidelines.
CURLI GIRLS LAUNCH
One of the new toys that were released during my time at Basic Fun! were Curligirls. One of my jobs was to create a countdown Instagram Story featuring cut outs of the new toys. I also created a final Instagram post featuring all the Curligirls together, complete with a disco ball and their changing hair.
